Over 500,000 Rohingya people have fled to Bangladesh since violence erupted in North Rakhine, Myanmar in August.

Most of the Rohingya refugees are women and children in desperate need of food, shelter, clean water and medical aid.

ActionAid teams are on the ground in Cox's Bazar working to distribute emergency food including rice and lentils, clean drinking water and hygeine kits to help prevent the spread of disease. Your support is urgently needed to help distribute essential emergency supplies to those most affected.

Note:The ActionAid Australia board resolves that administrative and fundraising costs will be capped at 10% for all funds raised during an emergency appeal. The balance of funding will be directed to the relevant emergency response program. In the case of funds raised exceeding the funds required for the response, the balance of funding will be directed to the ARISE Fund, which supports women leading crisis response.
